For over 10 years CC Workout has been training women 40 and better to feel younger, stronger, and more empowered in their bodies. Carol Catron founded CC Workout in San Francisco in 2001 as a one-woman personal training and group exercise business. In 2010 CC Workout moved online, with live video chat personal training and small group training via Skype. We bring a wide variety of experiences to our work with our clients, and are able to provide a truly unique service. Offering convenient scheduling and around-the-clock support, CC Workout is on the leading edge of health and fitness for busy lifestyles.

Carol Catron, ACSM, NASM

Carol is the founder and lead trainer at CC Workout. She developed a love of fitness at an early age, and has been active in both formal and informal athletics her entire life. She has been a competitive rower since age 15, competing at all levels. She began competing in triathlons and marathons in 2003, completing an Ironman 70.3 in 2008. Since 2009 she has participated in the AIDS/LifeCycle 4 times, riding her bicycle from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money and awareness for those living with HIV/AIDS. Additionally, she has been an organizer and participant in the Surf City AIDS Ride, raising money for the Santa Cruz AIDS Project. She is also passionate about Habitat for Humanity’s Global Village program, traveling to Argentina, El Salvador, Trinidad and the Dominican Republic to help build housing for those most in need.

She coached rowing at the University of Florida and the San Francisco Bay Blades rowing club, teaching both conditioning and rowing technique, leading her to pursue a career in fitness. She holds personal training certifications from two of the most highly-respected fitness organizations – the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She is also a USRowing Level III Certified Rowing Coach, and a Certified Johnny G Spinning Instructor (JGSI) with Madd Dog Athletics.
